If you are using Aquafinesse with a new spa, Swirl Away will not be required but if your spa is in its first 1 or 2 years then a simple dose of swirl away before you drain, refill and start using Aquafinesse will ensure better water quality. One hour before draining your spa, remove the filters, pour half a bottle of swirl away into the old spa water and then turn on the pumps. After one hour drain your spa, then refill and start using Aquafinesse.
